When you have a healthy economy and sound infrastructure, it’s an interesting discussion whether tax cuts or spending is best to keep it healthy and growing. It’s like arguing whether nutrition or exercise is better for a healthy man. However, if the man has sliced his wrists and is severely low on blood, he needs a transfusion.

Stop worrying about getting fucking reelected and start worrying about saving the country.

Democrats point out Republican tax cuts would increase the deficit and leave it to future American generations to pay back.

Both Republicans and Democrats are trying to fill the same hole; the one dug by the current American generation that has spent the last 10 years living on debt and delusion.

USA: Leading into the 21st century. It has rampant government corruption and cronyism. There’s no functioning economy to speak of, no credit, a crippled banking system and a stock market in free fall. The only thing falling faster than the market is employment. The elite continue to rip off the citizens with immunity in unregulated markets, and the only punishment is for them to go to Washington for a few hours so our “representatives” can rant at them for sound bites for the folks back home.

Closer to home we have outdated, leaking and insufficient water and sewage systems, inadequate roads and transportation systems, plus a majority of tunnels and bridges below safety code, crumbling 19th century dams and levees, failing school systems and high dropout rates, overcrowded prisons, and a health care system where even with insurance you have a 50/50 chance of proper care.

I wonder if the Muppets in office are aware that the citizens are enraged and armed?
