I'm not sure if this is ironic, stupid or scary, but Senator John McCain - a man that during the presidential campaign un-sheepishly admitted he knows nothing about technology and the internet - is behind a Senate bill that may have serious consequences for net neutrality; the freedom of speech and the democratic nature of the internet*.

Dark Side of Free speech in America

America has free speech. You can say anything as long as it’s not hateful, incites violence or causes harm. How is what Fox news is doing (esp. Glen Beck) different from screaming “fire” in a crowded theater?

Labeling Fox News as “journalism” is like saying hardcore pornography is “sex education.”

I landed in Buenos Aires and the next day I went to Bariloche. Kent, the guide and owner of the fly-fishing lodge, met me at the airport.
