Unsolicited observations:

The most used English word in California is “like”, followed by “and stuff” and “whatever” (accent on the second syllable).

Overheard: a dubious “lady” in a bar in San Pedro, CA., referring to a man that just walked in: “That’s my strongman, maybe he can pick up the tab?”

In California there are nine-year olds with cell phones. Talking to their agents you suppose?

Shut up, hang up, and drive. The most dangerous thing on the California Freeway system is a cell phone. People who find a salad bar an intellectual challenge should not be dialing at 90 mph.

People are still impressed by giant cookies.

Florida is full of old people and rednecks. We know how bright they are; remember the 2000 election? You can imagine what the traffic patterns are like.
