Autumn is “Wild” time: game (venison, wild boar, etc.) is available in restaurants and markets. It is also wild mushroom season, and like the berry season during summer, it draws people to pick baskets full. Unlike the berries however, it takes a bit of knowledge to keep from killing yourself. Fortunately most towns provide offices where you can have them inspected by an expert.
